David Chiti si unisce a Italia Viva, pronto ad aiutare l’amministrazione e sperando che Castagnini si unisca alla squadra.
David Chiti, former councilor, has officially joined Italia Viva, the local party of Matteo Renzi. Chiti expressed hope that Massimo Castagnini would also join the party, saying that together they could make a significant contribution to the city of Siena. Chiti emphasized his alignment with the party leader, Stefano Scaramelli, on ideas, values, and concrete actions for the benefit of Siena. He expressed his desire to grow the reformist force in Siena and address issues such as the deteriorating historical center, urban decorum, and job creation in the life sciences sector. Stefano Scaramelli welcomed Chiti’s entrance into the party, highlighting his administrative and political experience and their shared collaboration on pressing city issues. Scaramelli also expressed Italia Viva’s willingness to help the current administration, particularly with major topics such as the multi-utility company, the Mps Foundation, the Biotechnology Cluster, and infrastructure projects. However, he distanced himself from the perceived ineffective alliance between the Democratic Party and the Five Star Movement, emphasizing Italia Viva’s oppositional stance and willingness to collaborate with the local government for the future of Siena.
