Sary Rosa, a well-known and appreciated athletic trainer in Pistoia, has launched “Embroidery from all over the world,” a series of free meetings open to everyone. The initiative, held at the Capannina di Bottegone and in collaboration with Auser Bottegone and Luce per Tutti, aims to keep people active through the art of embroidery. The meetings, led by Barbara Valiani, an authority in embroidery, also include motor coordination tests and guided meditations to enhance concentration and relaxation. Learning different embroidery techniques not only helps individuals stay active but also improves coordination, concentration, and memory. This initiative is not only for the elderly but also for younger adults. Sary highlights the importance of prevention in maintaining health and preventing degenerative diseases such as dementia and Alzheimer’s.
