“Abbracci a Palestina” di Tamer a Lucca Comics, un cartello per non dimenticare.

Tamer Hasbun, an adopted Aretino and brother of Chef Shady, decided to draw attention to the living conditions of Palestinians by giving out hugs at Lucca Comics. This initiative was in response to artists like Zero Calcare boycotting the event due to Israeli sponsorship. Tamer, on the other hand, wanted to spread love and raise awareness about Palestine. He stood with a sign that read “Free Hugs from/for Palestine,” and received both positive and negative reactions. Despite the rain, many people stopped to talk to Tamer and learn about life in Palestine. He has family members in the country, and even though they currently live in the West Bank and not Gaza, the situation is still tense. Tamer hopes to continue sharing stories about Palestine and plans to propose the sponsorship of the Palestinian state at Lucca Comics in the future.
