Il Mascagni Theatre has organized a series of four events from September 24th to November 26th. The first event, “La commedia più antica del mondo-Discorso su Gli Arcanesi di Aristofane” will be performed by actor Massimo Grigò on September 24th in Popiglio. The play raises fundamental questions about the world and humanity through the story of Diceopoli, a farmer who establishes his own alternative polis. On October 21st, there will be a concert called “Mali Blues” featuring musicians Dimitri Grechi Espinoza, Gabrio Baldacci, and Andrea Beninati. “Nuvola,” a show for families and children, will take place on October 22nd and will showcase the talents of clown Elisa Consagra. The final event on November 26th is titled “Le ragazze di San Frediano” and is an homage to Florence and women, based on the novel by Vasco Pratolini. The Mascagni Theatre is described as a valuable cultural hub and has collaborated with Atp Teatri di Pistoia to improve access to the theater. Ticket prices range from 5 to 10 euros, and a free shuttle bus service is available for certain areas. Ticket information can be obtained from the Bellucci library in San Marcello.
