– ROME, AUGUST 19 – There are 7,260 Covid test positives identified in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Ministry of Health. Yesterday there were 7,162. There are 55 victims in one day, compared to 69 yesterday. There are 206,531 molecular and antigenic swabs for the coronavirus carried out in the last 24. Yesterday there were 226,423. The positivity rate is 3.5%, stable from 3.1% yesterday.

In the total sum of the new victims in the last bulletin ten more deaths were counted, concerning the previous days (8 in Calabria and two in Sicily).

Since the beginning of the pandemic, there have been 4,464,005 cases, 128,634 deaths. The discharged and healed are instead 4,204,869, with an increase of 5,465 compared to yesterday, while the current positives rise to 130,502 with an increase of 1,720 cases in the last 24 hours.

Finally, 460 patients are hospitalized in intensive care, 18 more than yesterday in the balance between income and expenses. Daily admissions are 40 (yesterday they were 50). The hospitalized with symptoms in the ordinary wards are 3,627, compared to yesterday they are 68 more.
