– ROME, AUGUST 11 – Thailand will begin human testing of two vaccines against the coronavirus via nasal spray by the end of the year. The Guardian reported, noting that the Thai government said the decision was made on the basis of promising results from the mouse studies.
Developed by the National Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, the vaccines are based on adenovirus and influenza.
If human trials, which will also include protection against the Delta variant, are successful, production for wider use could begin in mid-2022. .
