The post also mentioned a demonstration that took place in Livorno to demand the release of Khaled El Qaisi, an Italian-Palestinian who was arrested without clear charges. Diop clarified that she personally did not intervene in the demonstration and that her participation was unrelated to recent events. She strongly condemned the terrorist attacks by Hamas, stating that such actions do not benefit the Palestinian cause and only further exacerbate tensions in an already distressed area.
