Don Giò, the parish priest of Lavacchio, Bergiola Maggiore, and Bargana, has recently become the model for a renowned company called Vebi Confezioni Lucca. Vebi is a family-run business specializing in the production of sacred vestments. Don Giò had visited the company to see some of these vestments, and the company took the opportunity to ask him to pose for the company’s book. Don Giò, amused by the idea, agreed, and the resulting photos turned out to be quite beautiful. He humorously commented on his Facebook page that at least in this case, the model is an original priest and a free man. He also emphasized the importance of respecting the sacred value of the vestments, despite the lightheartedness of the situation.
