“The actor Gianfranco D’Angelo died in the night between 14 and 15 August at the Gemelli Hospital in Rome after a short illness. He would have turned 85 on 19 August“. His press office made it known in a note. Actor, comedian, stand-up comedian, voice actor, imitator and singer, he was born in Rome in 1936. After having carried out various jobs, he made his debut in Rai at the beginning of the 70s, where he appeared in various programs alongside the leading characters of the time, from Raffaella Carrà to Sandra Milo. He was part of the Bagaglino group with Pippo Franco and acted in many films, in theater and on television, where he participated in programs such as Drive in and, more recently, Striscia la storia. In 2019 he appeared in the film W gli sposi directed by Valerio Zanoli. He leaves behind two daughters, Daniela and Simona, both actresses.
