#Giroud #form #Pioli #prepares #Milan
Waiting for Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Stefano Pioli prepares the new Milan with Olivier Giroud at the center. The approach to the first league match against Sampdoria, scheduled for Monday 23 August, will restart tomorrow afternoon at Milanello, after the day of rest granted today by the Rossoneri coach, after the friendly victory against Panathinaikos on Saturday in Trieste and the session after yesterday’s race. And, as with the Greeks, the news against Sampdoria could be the form.
A change that also derives from the expectation of reinforcements on the market, especially as regards the attacking midfielder. In recent seasons, Pioli has in fact obtained the best results with the 4-2-3-1, exploiting not only the physicality of Kessie in the median but also the quality of Calhanoglu on the frontline and the ability of Ibrahimovic to make the department alone. The Ivorian and the Swede will return after the injuries that are keeping them in the pits, but the move of the Turk to Inter and the fact that he has not yet brought a new attacking midfielder to Milan made Pioli think of a solution with the 4- 4-2: option that would bring Rebic and Leao closer to the goal, areas that are probably more suited to them, without forgetting the hypothesis of a double weight center forward, with Giroud and Ibrahimovic together when the Swede returns.
The first reinforcement could however arrive on the wings: the deal for Alessandro Florenzi from Roma, now on the sidelines in the Giallorossi, seems destined to unlock in the next few days, with the formula that could be that of the onerous loan.
In the background remains the operation Yacine Adli, midfielder class 2000 of Bordeaux: the figures are still dancing, with the French club continuing to start with a request for 10 million.
“There are still some aspects on which we must be aligned,” said the president of the French, Gerard Lopez.
