Matteo Manfredi, an 18-year-old student from Sarzana, Italy, recently achieved a great accomplishment by being admitted to the prestigious Scuola Normale di Pisa. After receiving official confirmation, Matteo returned to his high school, “Parentucelli Arzelà,” to share the good news with his teachers and classmates. Last year, Matteo had already demonstrated his talent by placing third in a national physics competition held in Senigallia. His achievement was praised by Generoso Cardinale, the school principal, Mariano Bernazzani, his teacher, and Emilia Amato, the president of the school council. Among approximately 250 applicants, Matteo was one of the fortunate 32 who were accepted into the physics program at the Scuola Normale di Pisa.
