Riassunto, Operazione “Tramonto” per Messina Denaro a favore della vittima della strage dei Georgofili, Nadia.

Matteo Messina Denaro, the boss of the Mafia group Cosa Nostra, has died in a hospital in L’Aquila. His arrest 16 years ago in Palermo was named “Tramonto” after a poem written by Nadia Nencioni, one of the young victims of the Georgofili massacre in Florence. Luigi Dainelli, Nadia’s uncle, hailed the use of the poem as a symbol and a tribute to the two girls killed in the attack. Colonel Lucio Arcidiacono of the Ros detailed the investigation and the operation dedicated to Nadia. Nadia’s poem, written shortly before the attack, is still preserved and shared in schools to tell her story. The monument in memory of Nadia’s family members who died in the bombing still stands in a public garden in La Romola.
