– MELPIGNANO, 11 AUG – IJO’design, the Apulian brand of sustainable luxury, will dress the artists on the stage of the Notte della Taranta, in the Concertone on 28 August in Melpignano, in Salento, which arrives in its 24th edition this year for the first time on Rai1, on 4 September at 11pm. This helped to mark the visual turning point announced by the artistic direction, choosing the value of freedom as a theme.

“We deeply feel the theme of this edition – underlines Annalisa Surace, founder and designer of the brand – since the birth of IJO’design in 2001, our project weaves fluid and moving textures between the historic beauty of tradition and the fascinating strength of innovation “.

The masters of the Concertone this year will be Madame and Enrico Melozzi, the conductor who broke Sanremo with the Maneskin. To move the threads of the dance will be Thomas Signorelli, known for his choreography for Mahmood at the Eurovision Song Contest 2019, also working for Elodie, Dolce and Gabbana, Italia’s Got talent, The Voice.

“With IJO ‘Design, we have started a collaboration” on the theme of freedom, confirms Massimo Manera, president of the Notte della Taranta Foundation, “dialoguing with choreographer and concert masters on the message that the brand’s creations will transmit to the public”.

Meanwhile, on 12 August, the traveling festival will make a stop in Carpignano: in Piazza Duca D’Aosta at 7 pm there is the Pizzica Workshop. At 9 pm concert with Lucilla Galeazzi and two Roman musicians: Stefania Placidi, singer and guitarist, and Desirée Infascelli, accordionist, pianist and mandolinist.

At 10 pm Alla Bua in Tu’s i zoì arrive on stage. Concerts can only be accessed with a Green pass or negative buffer; a station for rapid tampons at the entrance is subject to a fee (20 euros). (HANDLE).
