Luigi Ciatti, the father of Niccolò Ciatti, a 22-year-old man who was killed in a nightclub in Lloret de Mar, spoke at the Florence City Council. He mentioned that there are two ongoing trials against the fugitive Rassoul Bissoultanov, one in Spain and one in Italy, with the final judgment still pending. He expressed his hope that the Italian court would have jurisdiction over the case, as there is a capture request for Bissoultanov, although it appears that Spanish authorities are not actively searching for him. Bissoultanov is one of the Chechens responsible for Niccolò Ciatti’s death, beating him with kicks and punches on the dance floor. Luigi Ciatti pleaded for a more serious effort in finding Bissoultanonv and for the Italian legal proceedings to continue.
