Benigni festeggiato con proiezione di “Non ci resta che piangere”.
Roberto Benigni, the famous Tuscan comedian known for his ironic and irreverent humor, celebrates his 71st birthday on October 27, 2023. He gained international acclaim and won an Oscar for his film “Life is Beautiful.” Throughout his career, he had a close friendship with Carlo Monni, starting from their early days with the television parody “Televacca” set in a stable, to their collaboration on “Berlinguer ti voglio bene” by Giuseppe Bertolucci, and finally to “Non ci resta che piangere.” To commemorate both artists, a screening of Benigni and Troisi’s masterpiece, which takes viewers on a journey through time and space, will be held at the Circolo 25 Aprile in Florence on October 29 at 8 pm.
