Sette artisti fiorentini dialogano con Anish Kapoor, il volo del tempo a Firenze.

The Tilt of Time is a collective project in Florence that explores the multifaceted nature of time through various artworks. It is connected to and contrasts with the Anish Kapoor exhibition at Palazzo Strozzi. The project, coordinated by Daria Filardo and Martino Margheri and curated by ten students from IED Florence, presents a fluid vision of time, attempting to reveal its many characteristics. The exhibition showcases six possible routes, each displaying different trajectories of research related to time. Chiara Bettazzi’s site-specific installation consists of objects from the institute’s warehouse, revealing hidden stories and fragments of the past. Alessandro Gandolfi’s selection of photographs depicts the changes and contrasts of our time, showing ecological and political stories from different parts of the world. Fabrizio Ajello and Francesco D’Isa’s artwork on the solar tunnels of the corridor features drawings that represent an alternative and fast-changing dreamlike time. Namsal Siedlecki’s glass sculpture incorporates a long metal tube used in its production, representing a material transformation and a bridge between past and present. Additionally, there will be two performance events, including a sleeping concert by Giulio Aldinucci and a performance by Jacopo Jenna that explore the concept of time. The exhibition explores the transformative possibilities of materials in history, the generation of images through new languages, bodily movement, the creation of soundscapes, and the manifestation of fractured geopolitical landscapes. It highlights the multitude and diversity of time.
