Voli immaginari: l’elemento dell’acqua, le sirene e l’ispirazione di Rodin

#massacarrara
Antonio Guarnieri, an Italian artist currently exhibiting at Mug2, discusses his themes of water and flight. He believes water represents the constant flow of sensations, thoughts, and emotions. Flight, on the other hand, symbolizes the desire to disconnect from earthly matters. Guarnieri explains that his sculptures aim to achieve a sense of suspension and lightness. He draws inspiration from Italian artists such as Michelangelo and Rodin, as well as from his own Argentinean background. Guarnieri continues to study by visiting museums and exhibitions, and he is currently studying Tintoretto’s sense of gravity in Venice.
