Ex commissario provinciale della Lega, P. Salvini, passa a Forza Italia in Siena.
Paolo Salvini, former provincial commissioner of the League party and former council group leader in Siena, has joined Forza Italia. He announced this news himself in a meeting with journalists in Siena, explaining that he found a credible and feasible project in the party founded by Silvio Berlusconi. Salvini had resigned from his position in the League party in recent months following controversies surrounding the party’s less than impressive electoral results in the province of Siena and the capital city. In addition, three section secretaries from different provincial areas of the League party, including the high Valdichiana senese, Amiata-Val d’Orcia, and Crete senesi, have also resigned in recent days. Furthermore, former MP and regional coordinator Manuel Vescovi had also left the League party to join FDI in previous months.
