Lorenzo Rossi, a 46-year-old man, was stabbed in the chest by a 58-year-old man named Augusto Galli in Carrara. The incident took place on Thursday evening on Michelangelo Buonarroti street. Rossi underwent a six-hour surgery to save his life. The attacker was later apprehended by the Carabinieri and charged with aggravated personal injury using a bladed weapon.
