Fiera antiquariato di Arezzo, impressioni e molto altro!
Franco Fedeli’s exhibition “Impressions of the Antiques Fair and Beyond” showcases 15 tables dedicated to the famous Antiques Fair in Arezzo. The tables, created in the early 1970s, depict the city’s scenery that has always hosted this event. Fedeli uses ink to transfer the discoveries and magic of collecting rare and interesting objects onto canvas. The exhibition also includes some objects from Fedeli’s collection, gathered over the years. The show is organized by the Arezzo Intour Foundation at the Rosy Boa Gallery, curated by Matilde Puleo. It pays homage to the Antiques Fair, a 54-year-old event that represents a celebration of ancient beauty and the joy of finding rare and curious pieces. Fedeli presents himself as a lover of the fair, a careful collector, and a critical artist who draws inspiration from both worlds. His art references various styles, from Renaissance and ancient iconography to the vibrant tones and experimentation of the Transavantgarde movement. The exhibition combines contemporary and ancient works to create a refined event that harkens back to the era of Cultured Painting. Fedeli’s collection serves as a tool for his creativity, allowing him to delve into the history of art. The artist has had numerous personal exhibitions throughout Italy and France and has amassed a collection of ancient and modern works of art. The Rosy Boa Gallery aims to be a space for experimental and transformative art, fostering dialogue and reflecting on society through various forms of expression.
