Autobiografia di un adolescente che ha perso la vista a sedici anni.

Paolo Boccia, who lost his sight in a motorcycle accident at the age of 16, has written his first book, “Dal mio punto di vista” (From My Point of View), in which he shares his journey of resilience and courage. The autobiography took two years to write, with the pandemic giving Boccia the time to reflect and focus on his writing. In the book, he discusses his life, including the accident, the dark moments, depression, panic attacks, and anxiety. However, he also emphasizes how he transformed adversity into opportunities and wants to inspire others to do the same. Boccia’s moment of rebirth came after finishing his studies when he started pursuing his passions for physiotherapy and music. He found success in managing artists and organizing concerts. However, the greatest success in his life was the birth of his daughter nine years ago. The book is aimed at those who need advice and encouragement, especially young people, as Boccia wants to serve as an example of the consequences of reckless behavior. He hopes to convey the importance of caution on the road and in life. The author’s future plans include potentially writing another book, possibly exploring his daily interactions with patients as a physiotherapist. Boccia has been moved by his wife’s emotional reaction to the book, particularly when she read the description of the accident, which occurred before they met.
