Presidente Siena Jazz si dimette, citando ostilità contro di lui.

Vito Di Cioccio, the former president of Siena Jazz, has resigned from his position due to the “obvious hostility towards himself”. In a letter addressed to the board of directors, auditors, Siena Jazz Association, and the City of Siena, Di Cioccio expressed his concerns over the deep crisis the association is facing. The accumulated debt and the decrease in student enrollments have severely impacted the organization’s operations. Though he accepted the role of president in hopes of contributing to the association’s recovery, Di Cioccio claims to have faced constant opposition from staff, teachers, and students. Despite his efforts to implement a strategic plan for recovery, the daily aversion from these parties hindered its execution. Di Cioccio believes that his continued presence would only exacerbate the situation and potentially harm the upcoming academic year. He has designated his vice-president, Lorenzo Rosso, to assume his duties. The board of directors is now responsible for appointing a new president and convening a general assembly to select a new member. Furthermore, there is speculation that the director of administration, Mauro Cianti, and the artistic director, Antonio Artese, may also resign. Di Cioccio concludes his letter by asserting his freedom from any further obligations linked to his former role.
