However, when he arrives at the Villa Costanza terminal, he faces difficulties as the bus stops are occupied by illegally parked cars, preventing him and other disabled individuals from boarding or disembarking. Becattini, along with Scandicci coordinator Matilde Tasselli and councilor Luca Carti, has filmed these situations and submitted an official request for action. Despite reassurances from the mayor, the problem persists. Carti expresses deep sadness over Becattini’s situation, highlighting the need to address the expectations and needs of disabled individuals. Becattini and Carti had planned a spring event regarding disability and healthcare, focusing on the challenges faced by elderly individuals who become disabled and the conditions in long-term care facilities. Unfortunately, the event was not scheduled by the municipality. Becattini concludes by emphasizing that while disability is not a problem itself, there are numerous daily obstacles that could be addressed and solved.
