Baritalia 2023 – a drink for the planet has selected 11 new finalists in Livorno. These mixology experts will compete in the final in Cannes on November 13th, 2023. The participants showcased their creativity and talent at the Tailored Cocktail Bar, engaging in 10 masterclasses throughout the day. Bartenders from Central Italy participated in the event, which also included seminars and discussions. The Baritalia Lab challenge required the contestants to create a sustainable drink, with 11 bartenders being selected as winners. The event also featured tastings of cocktails from event sponsors. The Livorno finalists included Matteo Cassan, Tommaso Bulegato, Valentino Donati, Ivan Forcieri, Damiano Cappellini, Andres Serna Cruz, Luca Di Giuseppe, Alessio Baneschi, Gaetano Di Laora, Giuseppe Bottone, and Simone Marchiani. The judges were representatives from partner companies, while guest judges included prominent figures from the Tuscan scene. The event also featured masterclasses on mixing techniques, led by renowned bartenders and experts. The Baritalia journey will continue with upcoming events in Brescia and the final show in Cannes on November 13th.
