Batman e Superman, Jim Lee ospite d’eccezione a Lucca Comics & Games
Jim Lee, President, Publisher, and Chief Creative Officer for DC, is one of the most anticipated guests at this year’s Lucca Comics & Games event. He will be meeting fans and participating in a series of events organized by Panini Comics. At the Panini Pavilion, there will be a selection of DC titles showcasing Jim Lee’s work, as well as other exciting releases. On Friday, November 3rd, Lee will be hosting the “Jim Lee, Maxi Showcase” where he will talk about his career in the comic book industry as an artist, writer, editor, and entrepreneur. The event will be moderated by Andrea Rock. On the same morning, there will be a panel featuring Jim Lee, Giuseppe Camuncoli, and Matteo Casali discussing their almost two-decade-long project, “Batman, Europa – A Story of Resilience,” which brought together Italy, Europe, and the USA. The Panini Pavilion will also have copies of the impressive “Batman, Europa” available, a collection that took years to make. Written by Matteo Casali and Brian Azzarello, and illustrated by Jim Lee, Giuseppe Camuncoli, Diego Latorre, and Gerald Parel, the story takes place in Europe, specifically in Berlin, Paris, Prague, and Rome. For the first time, the complete collection, including the original volume and the black and white version with Giuseppe Camuncoli’s layouts, will be available in a collector’s edition box set called “Batman, Europa Compendium.”
