Incrocio tra passato e presente nel panorama musicale.
“I Concerti al Cenacolo” is a music festival in Tuscany that has been organized by the association L’Homme Armé since 1994. The concerts feature a range of music from the Renaissance to the early Baroque period, as well as songs from the Renaissance to the 20th century. The festival kicks off with a performance titled “Sono solo canzonette? Leggerezze musicali italiane dal XV al XX secolo”, featuring mezzo-soprano Marta Fumagalli and musicians Gian Luca Lastraioli on lute and chitarrone. They will perform songs by composers such as Marchetto Cara, Carlo Milanuzzi, and Gaetano Donizetti, as well as more contemporary artists like Gino Paoli and Lucio Battisti. The concert will take place at the Oratorio di Sant’Omobono in Borgo San Lorenzo, with additional performances at the Fornace Agresti in Impruneta and the Cenacolo di Andrea del Sarto in Florence. Each concert will be preceded by a talk on the topic of “Canzoni nel tempo. Sono solo canzonette?” by Gian Luca Lastraioli. Admission to the events on November 4th and 5th is 10 euros.
