“Misterioso come il mio Lo”, da Firenze al set Rai
Costantino Seghi, a 23-year-old actor from Florence, is the star of the new TV series “Eppure cadiamo felici” (Yet We Fall Happy), produced by Rai and already available on the Raiplay platform. The series is based on the popular novel of the same name by Enrico Galiano and is directed by Matteo Oleotto. It tells the story of Gioia, a troubled sixteen-year-old who moves to a new city and struggles with her relationship with her mother and grandmother. Through an encounter with a mysterious boy, Gioia discovers new aspects of herself. This boy is played by Seghi, who has previously appeared in the film “L’ombra del giorno” with Riccardo Scamarcio and Benedetta Porcaroli. Seghi became interested in acting after finishing high school and feeling unsure about what to do next. He believes that growing up in Florence, a city rich in history, influenced his career choice. Although he is attached to his hometown, Seghi sees living in different cities as a necessary part of his acting career. He currently resides in Rome, where he has met great people but still misses his family and loved ones. He describes his first experience on set as a disaster but eventually became comfortable and feels at ease in his acting role. Seghi does not believe he has achieved true success yet and remains grounded and humble. He feels a connection to his character in the series, as both live their emotions intensely. Seghi’s character, Lo, has a mysterious and dark nature, appearing and disappearing from Gioia’s life and holding a secret that shapes the series’ storyline.
