Firenze rumorosa, Antonio di Borgo Pinti opta per tripli vetri per dormire.

Antonio, a resident of Borgo Pinti, spent over seven thousand euros to replace his windows with triple glazing in an attempt to reduce noise and get some peace. The rules in the city center require windows to be made of wood, so he did not receive any public contribution for the intervention. Borgo Pinti is known for its vibrant nightlife, with people drinking, shouting, and playing games on the street late into the night. The narrow street amplifies the noise, making it difficult for residents to sleep. Despite occasional police presence, the noise continues as the police and municipal authorities do not consistently address the issue. Antonio is also frustrated with the litter left on the street, lack of public transportation, and the approval of a new outdoor seating area, which all contribute to the noise problem. Borgo Pinti had noise level checks in the past, but the results led to minimal intervention from the municipality. There is also a lack of confidence in using noise meters as they have been reduced in number over the years. In Via Palazzuolo, the reopening of the nightclub The Space has raised concerns about noise from people in queues outside. Despite previous noise level checks, they often occurred when street activity was minimal.
