Luca Burroni, a 63-year-old man who relies on his electric wheelchair, used to travel from Pescaiola to Centro*Arezzo daily. However, he recently found the path blocked by barriers set up to prevent motorbikes from passing through. This not only affected him, but also other wheelchair users who relied on the accessible pathway to reach the shopping center. Despite attempts to maneuver the wheelchair through the barriers, it was impossible. Burroni’s daughter, Simona, expressed her frustration on social media and also filed a complaint with the local municipality. They are now waiting for a response, hoping that the barriers will be moved and their freedom restored.
