Felice Tagliaferri, a blind sculptor, will be attending an outdoor symposium in the village of Tenerano, Italy. His sculptures are created using touch, and he believes that visitors should appreciate art with their sense of touch as well. Tagliaferri lost his sight at the age of 14 but has found inspiration in the darkness. He is the only blind sculptor in the world who makes a living from his art. The symposium, “Arte nell’arte,” aims to promote inclusivity in art and culture. Various artists, writers, and scholars will participate in discussions throughout the event.
