Progetto parco eolico offshore a Livorno presentato al ministero dell’Ambiente

Atis Floating Wind, a joint venture between Eni Plenitude and Simply blue group, has requested a 40-year maritime concession for the construction and operation of a floating offshore wind plant off the coast of Livorno, Tuscany. The project, named ‘Atis’, will consist of a wind park with 48 turbines, each with a capacity of 18 MW, totaling 864 MW. The park will be located in the Tyrrhenian Sea, at a minimum distance of 17 km from Gorgona Island and over 50 km from the coast. The project also includes two floating electrical substations and the energy produced will be transported to Rosignano through underwater cables. A 5 km underground cable will be built to connect the plant to the Terna delivery point, with the possibility of revising the connection based on technical requirements. The company estimates a construction time of four years and the wind park’s lifespan is expected to be 25-30 years.
