In Tuscany, individual training vouchers are being offered to unemployed individuals registered with employment centers and to workers receiving wage support due to exceptional cases of company crisis and reorganization. Former Gkn workers are also eligible for this funding. The province of Lucca has allocated 426,000 euros for this program. The vouchers are part of the region’s new employment pact and have a total budget of approximately 3.67 million euros. The aim of the program is to facilitate reemployment for those who have lost their jobs. Applications can be submitted online until the funds run out. The vouchers, with a maximum amount of 3,000 euros, can be used for professional qualification courses, certification of skills, mandatory training, acquisition of technical-professional skills, or obtaining higher-level driving licenses. The courses must be started within six months and completed within twelve months from the approval of the ranking list. The vouchers are intended to help those facing difficult situations and unable to access other forms of assistance. The specific allocation of funds for each province in Tuscany has been determined based on discussions with local labor unions and other stakeholders.
